Future of Sport: A Global Sports Week x Viva Technology Collaboration, Will Open in June 14

Sina Sports, the leading Chinese Digital Sports Media Group announced that it has reached a strategic partnership with the Amaury Sport Organisation, owner of the Dakar Rally, to provide coverage of the event in the Chinese market.
Under the deal, Sina Sports will serve as an official media partner of the Dakar Rally in China for the ongoing 2016 event as well as the 2017 edition.
Throughout the competition, Dakar Rally will provide Sina Sports with daily clips, photos and reports featuring exciting moments, highlights and updated results from the rally.
The content will be made available in China across Sina Sports’ comprehensive digital media platform, which includes its website, mobile site and smartphone application.
There will also be special content produced profiling Chinese competitors participating in this year’s rally. At the same time, Sina Sports will be posting pictures and video content on Dakar Rally’s official Weibo account.
With this partnership, the Dakar Rally expects to further grow its profile in China.
