The CSL side FC Shijiazhuang Ever Bright has reportedly sold a 50 per cent stake to Hebei Hongsong, an investment company that focuses on new energy.
The report was based on the enterprise credit information of the club. The information shows that the registered capital of the club is RMB 30 million. Its two stakeholders, Hebei Hongsong and Ever Bright Land, both own a 50% stake (RMB 15 million).
Ever Bright was the only team without sponsorship during the 2015 Chinese Super League Season. Earlier, there were rumours that the club could be subject to a transfer and relocation deal.
As Li Qiang, president of the club, told reporters, they did have attractive offers that invited the team to move away. However, they preferred to stay in Shijiazhuang so they could make progress in 2016, Li added.
Ever Bright is a professional football club that currently competes in the Chinese Super League. The team is based in Shijiazhuang, Hebei and their home stadium is the Yutong International Sports Center.
