Suning officially takes over Jiangsu club

Suning, a China E-commerce giant announced the purchase over CSL club Jiangsu Sainty in November. December 17th is the deadline of for the purchase while Suning officially took over the club.

In the last 16 years, Jiangsu Sainty has their glory. They were the runner-up in 2012 and play in the AFC Champions League in 2013. However, as the owner, JSGX is a state-run group who is hard on investment. Since other clubs increased their investment year by year. Jiangsu is calling for a stronger consortium.

JSGX announced that they transfer the possession of the club of their own will on November 6th. While they added the conditions, the new owner should keep the club over 3 years, the club should stay in Nanjing, etc.
