Future of Sport: A Global Sports Week x Viva Technology Collaboration, Will Open in June 14

Sina Sports, a subsidiary unit of leading Chinese portal website Sina.com, has recently hired Lang Ping and Lin Dan, head coach of the Chinese women’s national volleyball team and Chinese badminton star respectively, as Sina’s image ambassadors for the 2016 Rio Olympic Games.
Sina Sports has also announced that it has reached partnership agreements with over 20 former Olympic and World Champions to act as commentators at Sina during the 2016 Rio Olympic Games.
Additionally, Sina Sports has reached agreements with several departments of China’s State General Sports Administration. Under the deal, Sina Sports will become the exclusive online partner of nine national teams in a variety of sports including Weightlifting, Wrestling, Judo, Fencing, Cycling, Equestrianism, Triathalon, Modern Pentathlon and women’s volleyball.
As well as the aforementioned events, Sina Sports are set to host a series of running events alongside a 3X3 basketball tournament next year.
