Chilean International and Arsenal forward Alexis Sanchez has become a brand ambassador of Chinese mobile phone manufacturer Huawei in his country on Thursday.
The deal, of which no terms were disclosed, means the Chilean NO.7 will help boost Huawei’s presence in South America alongside Real Madrid star James Rodriguez who signed an endorsement deal with the Chinese company earlier in May.
"I am happy to sign and hope that it will go on for a long time," said the player.
Sanchez also admitted that he was familiar with Huawei as the brand had already established partnership with his Arsenal.
Huawei Chile President Qin Hua commented "As a company we look to position ourselves as world leaders by delivering quality products, services and solutions. Generating trust and dependability is also very important to the company and we see these aspects accurately depicted in the player".
