Interview with Andreas Zagklis: to keep popularization of basketball with all-round strategy

The China Sports Marketing Forum (CSMF) has established a new sports industry development center in China’s Jiangsu Province on Aug 22, Saturday. It is one of a few centers which shares the same name – Sizhong Space.
These Sizhong Spaces CSMF is focusing on has become a popular phenomenon in China in the recent times, as many organizations aim to seize this industry opportunity which is backed by the central government. The National Stadium in Beijing has also established a similar kind of sports center to assist with companies that want to develop in the industry.
In the first half of 2015, the tenth anniversary event of CSMF was held in Nanjing, Jiangsu Province. The forum focuses on sports marketing and sports sponsorship services. According to the organization's website, its leaders come from top Chinese organizations, such as Chinese Olympic Committee, CNTV, Peking Universtiy, Xinhua News Agency.
The CSMF has been developing these sports industry development centers around the country on the back of China’s strategy to focus on the growth of the sports industry. There are now five such centers now located in Beijing, Taiyuan, Shenyang, Yunnan, and Jiangsu respectively.
CSMF is going to build 12 Sizhong Spaces around the country, covering major provinces in China by the end of this year.
On July 7, a signing ceremony between Kaixing Capital and CSMF was held in SOHO in Beijing, where Kaixing Capital invested in Sizhong Space.
