Faw-Volkswagen, an automotive company based in Jilin Province of China, sponsored the 2015 Bayern China Tour played in Beijing, Shanghai and Guangzhou. The three cities’ people witnessed three games of Bayern Munich.
In the last game played in Guangzhou yesterday on July 23, Bayern played against Guangzhou Evergrande.
At the start of the game, the boys that accompany the players were chosen from students at the Faw-Volkswagen youth football training camp. On the day before the game, players from Bayern Munich provided football training for the kids.
The company will create football training camps in four cities in China – Changchun, Chengdu, Foshan, and Tsingdao, to provide professional training for full-time students at schools.
The company will also cooperate with Chinese Football Association to do non-commercial projects to help develop Chinese football.
