When New tournaments Meets New Tech, the Old Friend of Football Has New Stories

As IAAF’s official partner, Canon joined the special celebration to mark the 30-day countdown to the IAAF World Championships held by the local organizing committee at the Beijing National Stadium on July 22nd.
During the celebration, Canon announced it would sponsor the event. It will provide services such as technical support, consulting, maintenance and renting of digital cameras and lens to sports photographers from different countries and regions. Sports photographers invited by the local organizing committee will appear around the field in vests with the logo of Canon. Canon broadcasting equipment will be used. Engineers from Canon will also provide maintenance services for the broadcasting equipment owned by TV stations. And Canon laser printers, multi-function devices and other office equipment will also be set up in the media center to provide printing services for journalists from all over the world and the committee.
