Kaisa and Kaixing Capital Initiate Fund to Sports Industry

On June 23, the US government held the conference China-US High-Level Consultation on People-to-People Exchange with China’s delegation in Washington. Both sides agreed to have further cooperation with each other in the field of sports. The cooperation is believed to play a positive role in the development of the two countries’ sports.
The conference in Washington actually involved 7 areas over which the two countries reached 119 agreements. In the area of sports, China decided to conduct more interaction with the US in adolescent sports, Olympics sports, traditional sports, and the education of those sports.
According to their agreements, in the second half of 2015, China will cooperate with America in qigong, dragon boat, martial arts and other Chinese traditional sports. Professional sports teams will be dispatched to America to make some propaganda and to exchange ideas with American players. In addition, both Peking University and Shanghai International Studies University will send 20 students to University of California, Los Angeles and Santa Margarita Catholic High School respectively for a sports exchange program.
