The Director of United Vansen, Wang Hui confirmed that 2015 Italian Super Cup would take place in Shanghai on August 8th. The contract allowed 3 Super Cups during 2009-2013 while in 2013 and 2014, the venues changed due to the schedule.
In 2015, Juventus, who won the runner-up in UEFA Champions League and Lazio would play in the Super Cup. The origin venue was Beijing National Stadium which was the main stadium of 2008 Beijing Olympic Games. But Beijing is going to hold 2015 IAAF World Championships in August, therefore the Super Cup should be held in different place.
According to the report, London-based sports media agency B4 Capital has retained the global rights to the Coppa Italia for a further three seasons, until the 2017/18 edition of the tournament.
The deal between Lega Serie A, which runs Italy's premier club knock-out competition, and B4 also includes rights to the annual Supercoppa Italiana between the league and cup winners of the previous season. BeIN Media Group, Mediapro and IMG Events & Media are reportedly among the other agencies who submitted bids for the rights, but who were ultimately beaten by B4.
The public broadcaster will pay €67 million (US$70.6 million) to show Italian club soccer's elite knock-out competition for three seasons from 2015/16. It saw off competition from Mediaset after a tender, drawn up by Infront Sports & Media, was issued by Lega Calcio.
