Who is ruining Sunyang?

“Sun was banned for failing the doping test in May”, that is the most popular headline on Chinese sports media these days . But, instead of announcing immediately after the failing, CSA and CHINADA did not issue the information until this week.

Why? It is quite obvious. Sunyang is a great swimmer who could win gold medals in Asian Games. And luckily, he achieved that. But unfortunately, the equality and anti-doping losed.

Moreover, now the WADA is seeking longer ban for Sun, failing dope test have faced bans up to 2 years according to the regulation .Although we do not know what Sun would face, at least we could presume that it would be much more severe than 3-month ban and 5000RMB fine.

If he is banned for two years, his dream in Rio Olympic would come to an end from today.

Who would pay for that? Who could take the responsibility of Sun’s absence in Olympic Games and the loss of his career?

Sun had no knowledge about the Trimetaziding, the only reason he took it is because of his cardiac disease. He just followed what his doctor advised him. That is why he looked innocent when he was charged of taking dope. For his doctor, as a professional man, he was supposed to know what is banned. And as the trimetazidine was listed on the anti-dope, he should cut the Vasorel for Sun.

That seems like the main reasons, but actually they are not to blame.

Last year, Sun was accused of confronting and insulting his coach. What is worse, he was arrested for DUI by the end of the year.

He just got slap on his wrist, and went back to the National Team a couple of months later.This time , after his failure in test, the “team” covered that for him also. No one is allowed to make it publicly till Asian Game. Of course, we have to owe this to Sun’s performance and gold medals he won . That means ,every time no matter what mistakes he commits, if he could win gold medals, he would just get away with it. When the CSA and other officials got promoted, Sun would be awarded, then everything is OK.

It is the system, the system allows people to make the full use of Sun’s performance damages Sun, the people who make that must be responsible for that.
