SPORTACCORD 2024 INSIGHTS: Sport’s Perfect Storm

On July 26, the Director of the Market Development department of the 2022 Beijing Winter Olympics Organizing Committee, Mr. Piao Xuedong, announced that the organizing committee have launched a campaign to seek official exclusive suppliers and official suppliers for the Winter Olympics and Paralympics.
Since the launch of the market development plan for the Beijing 2022 Winter Olympics and Paralympics, the organizing committee have received considerable attention from the public and have been progressing well in terms of obtaining partners. As of now, they have signed and announced to the public 9 official partners and 5 official sponsors.
To obtain more funding support for the preparation of the Winter Olympics and Paralympics, the organizing committee have now launched a campaign looking for Tier 3 Official Exclusive Suppliers and Tier 4 Official Suppliers.
On July 26, the 2022 Beijing Winter Olympics and Paralympics Organizing Committee published an announcement on their official website, starting the process of seeking official exclusive suppliers for the following categories: postal services, automatic speech conversion and translation, chocolate, and communication agency services.
The organizing committee will begin the second round of the supplier procurement campaign and announce future category suppliers based on the result of the initial round.
