SPORTACCORD 2024 INSIGHTS: Sport’s Perfect Storm

According to Chinese football media, Sike Football, China League Two side Baoding Yingli ETS Football Club made an announcement on December 4 to sell a stake in the club.
The club has been sponsored by local company, Rongda Real Estate, for a couple of years. With the expiration of the partnership due in the near future, Rongda have decided not to continue the partnership, so Baoding Yingli ETS FC are seeking new investors. The new investors can receive title sponsorship, a youth training system, operational rights to the stadium and other assets in return.
The club was founded in January 2015 and had three individual investors . In December 2016, the club name was changed to Baoding Rongda Football Club, but in January 2017, the name reverted back.
They played in the China League One for one season, and were then relegated to China League Two and played there for three years.
In the 2018 season, they finished 15th out of 26 teams.
