The Swedish table tennis brand Stiga has announced the sponsorship of six Chinese Table Tennis Super League teams for the 2018-2019 season.
Stiga (Beijing) Sporting Goods Co., Ltd. and representatives from the six teams announced the news at Sanlitun, Beijing on October 9. The CEO of Stiga, Andreas Zandren, General Manager of Stiga Beijing, Huang Dawei, and a few representatives from the Stiga Swedish headquarters attended the event.
The six CTTSL teams are Shandong Luneng Table Tennis Club (both men’s and women’s team), Bayi Table Tennis Club (both men’s and women’s team), Safe Hundred Percent Table Tennis Club (women’s team) and Hongan Niuye Table Tennis Club (women’s team).
Stiga will provide these teams with competition outfits for the new season. Famous Chinese table tennis players that play for these clubs such as Ma Long, Fan Zhendong and Liu Shiwen will wear these Stiga-sponsored competition outfits for the new season.
Stiga previously sponsored Shandong Luneng Table Tennis Club (both men’s and women’s team), Bayi Table Tennis Club (both men’s and women’s team), Beijing Shougang Table Tennis Club (women’s team), Safe Hundred Percent Table Tennis Club (women’s team) and the Binzhou Longfu Huanneng Table Tennis Club in the 2017-2018 CTTSL season.
The 2018-2019 season CTTSL kicked off on the same day of the announcement (October 9).
