Alipay provide suits for Chinese delegation at the 2018 Asian Para Games

Alipay, the third party mobile and online payment platform of Alibaba, has supported the 2018 Asian Para Games Chinese athletes delegation by providing them with their suits for the sports event currently taking place in Jakarta from October 6 to 13. 

It has been reported that the suits were a problem two months prior to the start of the games, with no company having agreed to make them. However Alipay agreed to take over this issue and invited Chinese fashion designer Wang Peiyi to design the suits. Wang has designed formal dresses for famous Chinese film stars. 

Alipay and Wang finished the suits in time for the games which consist of a purplish blue coat, red tie and white trousers, with the Chinese emblem on the left chest and the logo of Alipay imprinted on the right upper arm of the coat. 

Alipay connects this sponsorship with one of their company philosophies, to bring more equal opportunities to the world. They have also been engaged in servicing people with disabilities with Alipay products. No matter if it’s individuals with disabilities or smaller businesses, they both fit with Alipay’s business idea.
