Blockchain company vSport to build blockchain sports town in Hainan

Chinese blockchain start up vSport has partnered with Lanswon Century (Beijing) Investment Corp. (蓝深世纪(北京)投资股份有限公司), to land a sports blockchain project in Hainan Province.

The two parties have formed a strategic cooperation partnership to implement sport-related developments in the National Space Town project in Wenchang, Hainan Province 

This would be the second large-scale blockchain project to have landed in Hainan after the headquarters of Huobi China, a trading platform of blockchain coins such as bitcoin and Litecoin, settled in Hainan Province.

The two sides will focus on developing the sports characteristics of the National Space Town. Specifically, they will look at long-term collaborations on the following projects: football-focused international schools, sports-themed parks, youth football training bases, sports betting and the application of sports blockchain technologies.

Lanswon is responsible for supplying land and assets that need heavy investment and will take part in the overall project’s design and planning. By taking advantage of the 2018 FIFA World Cup opportunities and applying block chain technologies, vSport will combine international sports industry resources, football stars, football fans, sports ecology and sports education & training, and introduce these resources into this project.
