The Shandong-based tire enterprise Linglong Tire have reached a partnership with the Shandong Small Ball Sports Federation, according to a press release posted on Linglong Tire’s official website.
Under this partnership, Linglong Tyre will act as the title sponsor for 40 events, covering 17 different sports and organized by the Federation, the provincial tennis team and cricket team of Shandong. As the company unveiled in the press release, these 40 events will include 2 international events, 8 national events and 30 provincial events.
Linglong Tire also expressed their motivations for this partnership in the press release. According to the company, small ball sports is becoming more and more popular among Chinese people and it is a responsibility for the company to support these sports. Meanwhile, these increasingly-popular sports are expected to help the company to promote their brand awareness.
The Shandong Small Ball Sports Federation was founded in July 2017, taking charge of promoting 17 small ball sports in the province, such as baseball, hockey, softball, tennis and golf.
Linglong Tire is a specialized and large-scale technology-oriented tire manufacturer. In recent years, the company has been passionate in sports marketing by partnering with the Chinese Volleyball League, NBA China Games and Serie A outfit Juventus.
