Future of Sport: A Global Sports Week x Viva Technology Collaboration, Will Open in June 14

On March 31, the Premier League giant, Manchester United, announced a multi-year partnership with the Chinese banking company, Ping An Bank in mainland China.The bank become the Official Retail Banking Partner of Manchester United in Mainland China.
Under this partnership, the Chinese bank will be able to engage with more than 100 million Chinese fans at proposed events and appearances of club legends in Chinese cities like Beijing, Shanghai, Shenzhen and Guangzhou.
At the same time, the club will promote exclusive products on its website and social media outlets, aiming to give their fans unique rewards, benefits and experiences.
As an important part of their cooperation, the two sides will launch various co-branded financial products for Chinese fans, including the upcoming five-version Manchester United credit card.
“Manchester United has a large number of fans in China, being one of the top football clubs worldwide. Ping An Bank will continue to provide diverse services and explore cross-over collaboration with Manchester United to create a unique experience for the fans,” President of Ping An Bank Credit Card Centre Zeng, Kuanyang said. “The Manchester United credit card launch will be the very first step of our partnership and we will offer more products and engagement experience to fans in China in the future.”
