On March 27, one of the Official Partners of Beijing 2022, the Bank of China, announced the launch of their support project for winter sports in China.
According to the Xinhua News Agency, the project will be active from now until 2024. The Bank of China will invest CNY30bn in supporting the promotion of winter sports participation and the winter sports industry in China. Reportedly, this project is expected to engage 100 million people from 30 million families to participate in winter sports.
It is the second time the Bank of China has acted as an official partner of the Olympic Games. The Xinhua News Agency has also reported that the Bank of China will launch three support projects in the 2018-2024 period, focusing on serving the Winter Olympic Games, promoting winter sports participation and supporting winter sports enterprises in China.
Last year, the Bank of China signed a sponsorship agreement with the 2022 Beijing Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games soon after the Local Organizing Committee launched its marketing program, thus becoming their first official partner.
As the official partner of Beijing 2022, the BOC will provide high-quality banking facilities and services. They will also help to promote winter sports and support the winter sports industry in China.
