Beijing WeShare Wealth Asset Management Company Limited, a Chinese online financial platform, has been named as the title sponsor of the 2018 Chinese Football Association (CFA) Super Cup in a deal signed on Thursday.
The CFA Super Cup, founded as the Chinese Football Super Cup in 1995, is a pre-season football competition held before the season begins in China. On February 26, the 2018 tournament is expected to be held between the 2017 Chinese Super League champions, Guangzhou Evergrande and Shanghai Shenhua, who won the 2017 CFA Cup, in Shanghai Hongkou Football Stadium.
As CFA vice-present Li Yuyi said, “The event cannot develop so rapidly without sponsors’ strong support. WeShare Wealth, who also sponsored the Stars on Ice 2017 China Tour, will make great contributions to Chinese football by leveraging the 2018 CFA Super Cup. I believe through the cooperation, the event will be held successfully to unveil the 2018 Chinese football season.”
