Sport Event Denmark confirmed as Partner for SportAccord Convention in Baku

December 18: Manchester City has officially announced the establishment of a football school in China, as a part of a 10-year partnership with the Beijing-based Kaiwen Education Group.
The proposed Kaiwen Manchester City Football School, set to open in September 2018, will offer a unique curriculum for aspiring young football enthusiasts by introducing the training philosophy used by City's Academy teams and Pep Guardiola’s first team squad.
The School plans to set up two classes, each of which will recruit no more than 25 students, one Chinese adviser and one foreign adviser.
“We are excited to extend Manchester City’s presence in Chinese education and provide more young players with the opportunity to improve their talents through playing the City way,” said Damian Willoughby, Senior Vice President of Partnerships at City Football Group.
Marc Xu, Chairman of Kaiwen Education Group added, “We believe this partnership is significant in terms of understanding the culture of football as well as accepting and learning the sportsmanship it represents.”
