The inaugural race of the Chinese Vertical Marathon League & the 2017 Towerrunning Tour Final will kick off on January 13, 2018, at the Beichen Times Square in Changsha of Hunan province.
A Hunan-based company, iSPORTSX, has been named as the exclusive marketing partner for the race with a four-year deal. Under the terms of their deal, iSPORTSX will be responsible for the operation, promotion and brand building for the Chinese Vertical Marathon League (CVML).
The two sides are looking to set up skill standards, event rules and training plans for the league. They also have plans to establish an iSPORTSX National Fitness Charity Project, donating money and goods to Hunan charity causes.
The CVML championships are expected to be held in 12 Chinese cities, following more than 1,000 city challenges and community tournaments which are estimated to draw in about 500,000 participants.
