HC Kunlun Red Star has announced a strategic partnership with Visual China Group (VCG), one of the leading image licensing companies in China who focus on visual communication and new media business.
Under this partnership, VCG will design and conduct a visual marketing and promotions program for HC Kunlun Red Star. Alongside their role as the official photograph provider, VCG will also act as the designer of the club’s culture and visual images.
This partnership will also cover the five HC Kunlun Red Star “national ice hockey teams” (mens, womens, U20 mens, U18 mens and U20 womens) , which were set up to enable national team members to participate in more competitions. Other HC Kunlun Red Star teams competing in the KHL and in the CWHL will also enjoy the services offered by VCG.
Given that the teams mentioned have to take part in competitions around the world, VCG will send their photographers around the world to take their photos.
HC Kunlun Red Star was founded in 2016 and also started to compete in the KHL in the same year. In 2017, the Chinese Ice Hockey Association called on the club to co-establish five national teams in order to enhance the competitiveness of Chinese ice hockey.
