September 6: Chinese ice hockey club Kunlun Red Star has appointed Jia Duo Bao-owned Kunlun Mountains Mineral Water as its Platinum Sponsor for the 2017-2022 seasons.
According to their agreement, the water brand will become the sponsor of Beijing-based HC Kunlun Red Star, along with its subordinates, Shenzhen Kunlun Red Star Ice Hockey Club and Harbin Little Wolf Ice Hockey Club.
Kunlun Water will become the official water of those clubs on the courts of the Kontinental Hockey League (KHL), the Maritime Junior A Hockey League (MHL) and the Canadian Women's Hockey League (CWHL).
