On 19th September the Baofeng Group announced that they have completed their first round of financing within a relatively short period of less than 100 days. This break through proves that the online sports community has great potential.
This round of financing is jointly funded by five investors, with a total investment reaching 204 million RMB. One representative of the investors stated that the reason why they choose Baofeng is more than just its online sports video. Baofeng attracts investors because it also includes its advantages in copyrights, technology and its online products. It is these comprehensive advantages that really attracts the investors.
Baofeng reportedly took advantage of its PC and smartphone APP to broadcast games from the CSL and Bundesliga (with copyright authority)from June this year. By the end of September, APP Baofeng Sports 2.0 will also be released and it will have more personalized functions and updated customer experience. As well as this, the whole of the new CBA season will be broadcast by Baofeng from this October.
