According to a news report, Rucker Park, a basketball-themed sports service brand, gained 40 million RMB B-round financing which was led by the Chinese Culture Group. In March 2015, Rucker Park obtained angel financing from the Shanghai Realize Investment Consulting Co. LTD.
Rucker Park belongs to Shanghai Luohe Development Co. Ltd. The company is focused on building sports venues to operate sports events, training and R&D of sports products. Besides Rucker Park, the company also possesses its own sports clothing brand “Rucker Wear.”
The Rucker Park venue is different from others. It integrates several elements and sports cultures together. For example, it includes basketball, E-Sports, Archery, Brazilian Jiujitsu, boxing and has restaurants. People can not only play basketball but also try other sports at the venue, and so it can meet all the requirements of different groups.
At present, the sports industry in China is developing fast and In 2015 increased by 400 billion RMB. With the support of the government, the sports industry will become a pillar sector in China and venue construction will also benefit from this.
