On the 11th August in Rio, the Chinese enterprise Honav signed a franchise deal from the year 2017-2020 with United States Olympic Committee (USOC).
According to the deal, Honav will design and produce franchised goods and gifts for the Olympic Games on behalf of the USOC and America's Team.
In fact, Honav has already been the official partner of the USOC from 2012-2016.
Mr Chen, Chairman of the Honay Board, said, “ this deal marks the recognition by both sides of their previous co-operation. We will treasure the mutual trust built up during the past four years and try our best to fulfill the next project with the support of the USOC.”
Being the biggest franchising enterprise for the Olympic Game, Honav has gained the rights on three consecutive occasions to sell their products - in 2008, 2012 and 2016. This year, Honav has designed more than 1,000 franchised items including some Mascot staff toys.
