Le Sport HK announced on May 18th that the company has been awarded the rights to the UEFA Euro 2016.
The deal will enable Hong Kong users to access live coverage of the 2016 UEFA European Championship through Le Eco’s various channels, including OTT, mobile devices and PC. In addition, Le Sports will send seven video crews to France for additional live coverage of the five favorites for the competition, i.e. England, France, Germany, Spain and Italy. There are high expectations of ensuring exclusive live streaming of one of the above teams’ journey to the championship.
Le Sports HK have also invited Chan Yuen Ting, head coach of the Eastern Football Team, and Chan Wai Ho, captain of the Hong Kong national football team, to be guest commentators stationed in France during the competition.
Le Sports HK is Le Sports’ official branch in Hong Kong. It is also the sub-licensed broadcaster of the English Premier League in the area after sealing a 3-year deal on the media rights for the EPL.
