IAAF World Championships will kick off next month. The organizing committee launched the 30-day countdown in Golden Hall of National Stadium. Toyota, the official partner of IAAF, supplied 200 cars to World Championships.
Toyota holds the idea that spirit on athletics, such as pushing the envelope, enthuasiam on pursuing and unlimited passion are exactly same with Toyota`s. Since 2003, Toyota established their partnership with IAAF, and launched the campaign of “Beyond Limits”. This time in Beijing, to meet the theme of “Green Earth, Green Event”, 140 of 200 Toyota cars are hybrid, dual-engine cars.
The dual-engine cars could save 40 percent of energy while provide 30 percent more driving force. Now, the sales of hybrid cars could reach 100 thousand.
During the World Championships, as the official supplier, except for 200 official cars, the logo of Toyota will be printed on the shirt of Women Athletes. Besides, Toyota would award the athletes who break the world record.
