On October 19, the China Water Sports Development Center in Zhejiang University, co-established by China Water Sports Administration (CWSA) of General Administration of Sport of China (GASC) and Zhejiang University, was officially settled at the campus, indicating the University’s in-depth scientific cooperation with CWSA to enhance the growing of water sports.
Co-led by SWSA and Zhejiang University, the China Water Sports Development Center integrates water sports education, consulting, scientific research, and service, in coordination with the national strategy of strengthening the country through sports, to accelerate the public popularization of water sports and guarantee its healthy development. Existed as the first water sports development platform that was co-established by GASC and a “Double First-Class” comprehensive university in C9 League, the China Water Sports Development Center in Zhejiang University has not only become a significant milestone to scientifically support the national strategy of strengthening the country through sports but also created an innovative model of Education-Sports integration.
