English Premier League club Tottenham Hotspur opened their official online store for Chinese consumers on WeChat with the store being launched on July 8.
Users can visit the online store on WeChat using their mobile phones to buy official Hotspur merchandise, such as T-shirts, baseball caps, bags, water bottles, portable chargers and umbrellas. Prices for different items are not expensive making them more accessible for fans.
The store is also offering some limited-edition products for the club’s upcoming tour to Shanghai. This month the club is coming to Shanghai to play a pre-season friendly and also participate in their long-time partner, AIA’s centennial ceremony. This is the first time for the first team squad to visit Shanghai.
In addition to the WeChat store, the club has also opened a flagship store on the e-retailer platform, Tmall with the two stores selling the same merchandise.
