The application stage of the 2019 Dongfeng Nissan Chengdu Marathon closed on July 5, and the demographic statistics of the applicants were released on July 8.
Data showed that by 10 pm on July 5, a total number of 97,283 runners had registered to take part in the marathon, a 93.4% increase from 2018, which saw 50,294 runners submitting an application.

Of the 97,283 applicants, 63.82% are male, and 36.20% are female. In the age category , 54.18% of applicants are aged 18-34, with 49 runners older than 70, and the oldest applicant being 81 years old.
The 2019 Dongfeng Nissan Chengdu Marathon will be held on October 27th.
