The Chinese Football Association have officially moved to a new office area in Beijing, kicking off a new start to the 2019 Chinese New Year.
The newly refurbished offices, located on the 15-18 floors of the Shidong Guoji Building in Chaoyang District, near the East 4th Ring Road, will have a capacity for 200 people to work there.
The Chinese Super League, China League and Chinese Football Association Division Two League plus the media department will have their offices on the 15th floor. The National Team department, women’s elite football and women’s leagues will take over the 16th floor while the chairman’s office and international affairs will be on the 17th floor.
The Chinese Super League Company and China Football Industry Development Corporation will also move to the new location after the renovation of the 18th floor is finished.
According to a report on the Beijing Youth Daily website, the reason for moving to the new location is because the old office area can no longer meet CFA’s requirement for working space. As the CFA grows and the number of employees increases, the old location on the 7th 8th and 9th floors of Building A, Dongjiu Mansion, Xizhaosi Street in Dongcheng District could no longer provide enough working space for all employees.
It is said that this is the fourth time that the CFA has changed offices.
