As disclosed by the BWF, it is an historical moment and an important decision for them to award the hosting rights of the 18 major BWF events together. In 2018 and 2019, there have already been some major BWF events hosted or to be hosted in China. The 2018 BWF World Championships was held in Nanjing, China and the 2019 Sudirman Cup will be held in Nanning, China.
