Liverpool FC has renewed its cooperation partnership with Kunming Education Bureau during the inaugural China International Import Expo in Shanghai and looks to develop a longer partnership to help with the region’s football training.
Earlier this year in April, the Premier League football club reached a 6-month youth football training collaboration with the Kunming Education Bureau. LFC provided customized training programs to students from ten local schools in Kunming, as well as coach education clinics for local coaches. UEFA-certified coaches were sent to these schools to train both students and coaches with hundreds of students and around eighty local coaches participating in the programs.
The renewal of the collaboration makes it a long-term cooperation between the two sides. Liverpool FC will continue to help with the development of youth football talents and coaches in Kunming, the southwestern city of China, via the Liverpool International Academy Kunming. It is reported that the academy is planned around strong training programs and annual youth football competitions.
