Chinese mineral water brand Ganten has reached a 4-year Global Partnership with FIVB, the world governing body of volleyball and beach volleyball, with the two parties signing the agreement at a ceremony in Nagoya, Japan, today (October 15) where the 2018 FIVB Women’s Volleyball World Championship is currently taking place.
Ganten becomes the new Global Partner of FIVB and will provide mineral water across the FIVB Volleyball Nations League (VNL) and the FIVB Volleyball Women's Club World Championship until 2022. Ganten will also design a special athletes bench for the VNL. Besides the above collaborations, Ganten will work with FIVB on digital activations of FIVB events, as well as making volleyball-themed TV marketing content and organizing marketing campaigns which will appear on CCTV 5.
The news was announced during the FIVB Volleyball Women’s World Championship 2018. The next edition of the event, the FIVB Volleyball Women’s World Championship 2022 will also be sponsored by Ganten.
The CEO of Ganten, Zhou Jingliang, says that he believes the partnership with FIVB will help them to steadily move forward with their globalization strategy.
Of the current FIVB Global Partners, Mikasa, Senoh, Gerflor, DB Schenker and Asics, Ganten is the only Chinese brand.
