VivaTech takes the stage as the world's leading event for tech and startups

The inaugural China Open Sailing began on Monday, September 24, from the coastal city of Dalian in Liaoning Province. The sailing event will last around 2 weeks, with stops at key coastal cities such as Shanghai and Quanzhou, and arriving in Shenzhen on October 7.
The event is organized by the Chinese Yachting Association and Dalian Municipal Sports Bureau and co-organized by the Shenzhen Yachting Association. It is said to be the longest offshore race in China.
Six all-Chinese crew ships will take part in the competition, sailing through the four seas of China: the Bohai Sea, Huanghai Sea, Donghai Sea and the South China Sea. They will also pass eight coastal provinces, two province-level municipalities, close to 30 coastal cities and one special economic zone.
The event has attracted a number of designated sponsors, including Vedan MoreWater, apparel sponsor Helatila, coffee supplier Milan Gold, supplier/asset management group Chamrich, supplier ASSA ABLOY, sustainable development partner Bluewater, Shareplus, exclusive team title sponsor Fengxing, sails supplier Wilfer Sail, exclusive team title sponsor Dove Men, nutrition supplier Zhenbainian, exclusive team title sponsor AORAKI, and strategic partner Xifeng Jiu.
