Chinese clothing brand JOEONE, the Official Supplier of suits for the Chinese National Sports delegations, have unveiled, on July 25 at the General Administration of Sport of China in Beijing, both the men’s and women’s suits of Team China for the 2018 Jakarta Asian Games.
The Deputy Director of the General Administration of Sport of China, Zhao Yong, and President of JOEONE, Lin Congying, together launched the suits. The new design features blue and white colors and the words “Team China” feature prominently on the women’s skirt and men’s trousers. It is the first time that the team suits are emblazoned with these two English words. The inside of the suits features the words “JOEONE cheers for Team China!”.
The design received firm support and acknowledgement from the General Administration of Sport of China, as well as from the athlete representatives at the ceremony. The new design is a major change from the traditional red and yellow themes of previous Chinese national team suits and has been named “Blue Dream”. It symbolizes the meaning of pursuing dreams and remembering your goals.
JOEONE signed an agreement with Team China in June 2018, becoming the Official Suit Supplier of Team China for the six year period from 2018-2024.
Headquartered in Quanzhou, Fujian Province, the brand was created in 1989 and is one of the most well-known Chinese domestic clothing brands. According to the China National Commercial Information Center’s survey results of major large-scale retailers and sales groups across the country, as of 2017, JOEONE’s main product, its men’s trousers had the No. 1 market share in China for 18 consecutive years.
