LaLiga side Real Madrid and the club’s partner Chinese dairy group, Yili, jointly organized a youth football training event at the National Olympic Sports Center in Beijing yesterday, with professional Real Madrid coaches offering training to young Chinese boys and girls football players.
The young players consisted of two teams. One team was the famous Qiong Zhong girls’ football team from Hainan Province who had an average age of 12. Qiong Zhong have won medals three times in the Gothia Cup China. The other team were from the Dabieshan Jinzhai Football School which was the first Chinese football school to receive investment from Real Madrid FC. Two professional coaches from Real Madrid FC gave instructions to the young players.
The training session was part of the Yili youth football training project that kicked off on June 1, International Children’s Day at the Water Cube. The name of the project is “Kaiqi Huoli Zhuchang” (Start a home ground). On the day, Yili announced they had become a new partner of the “National Youth Campus Football Demonstration Classes” project led by the Chinese Ministry of Education.
Yili has also selected children and sent them to Russia to watch the 2018 FIFA World Cup.
This youth football project is a realization of Yili’s promise for their partnership with Real Madrid. In the summer of 2017, the two sides signed a partnership, making Yili an Official Dairy Partner of the famous Spanish football team.
