Kris Wu, a Chinese Canadian actor, singer, music producer, has been selected to play in the 2018 NBA All-Star Celebrity Game, for his third consecutive appearance.
On February 7, the NBA and ESPN announced the celebrity coaches and rosters for the 2018 NBA All-Star Celebrity Game presented by Ruffles which will air on Friday, February 16, at 7 p.m. ET.
As an annual exhibition match held by the National Basketball Association, the Game features retired NBA players, WNBA players, actors, musicians, and athletes from all around the world.
According to the announcement, Wu will play for Team Lakers against Team Clippers in the Verizon Up Arena at the Los Angeles Convention Center.
Last month, the 27 year-old was also named as the official Super Bowl LII ambassador for China, as the league aims to build an audience for American football in the world’s most populous country. He also performed at Super Bowl LIVE presented by Verizon, a 10-day fan festival which kicked off in downtown Minneapolis on February 3.
