China University eSports Alliance was officially launched on Tuesday (January 16) at the School of Animation and Digital Arts (SADA), Communication University of China (CUC).
The alliance, led by the Association of Fundamental Computing Education in Chinese Universities and the SADA of the CUC, covers diversified members including colleges and universities, research institutes, technology businesses and media companies.
The committee members have discussed topics such as eSports teaching materials, talent education and faculty training at the launch ceremony.
At the same time, as a platform, the members are seeking to set up the eSports major in Chinese universities, foster eSports talents and boost eSports academic development.
Additionally, they will also make efforts to organize Chinese university eSports events regularly, establish college student e-sports clubs, and create an online platform featuring live streaming, academic study and idea exchanges for the University eSports Alliance.
