To promote the 2022 Asian Games in Hangzhou and encourage more teenagers to take part in sports activities, the Hangzhou Organizing Committee of the 2022 Asian Games Hangzhou (HOC) has launched a series of promotional campaigns in Hangzhou’s primary and middle schools.
In these campaigns, Olympic medalists and winners of international sports events will go to those schools and organize a PE lesson for students there. These sports celebrities will also share their sporting experiences with students, as well as helping the HOC to promote the basic knowledge of the Asian Games.
Up to now, several medalists have been invited to join this campaign, including 2-time Olympic gymnastics medalist Deng Linlin and former Olympic diving champion, Wang Hao. Another gymnastics world champion, Sui Lu, recently became the third guest to share her experiences on December 6.
As the HOC have stated, they will feature more sports celebrities in this series of campaign in the future.
