BSU to foster talents in Winter Sports Management

Beijing Sport University (BSU) has set up an educational program for Winter Sports Management with the goal of fostering professional talents to help China hold the Beijing 2022 Winter Olympics and develop its winter sports industry.

BSU has decided to make efforts in talent fostering, scientific research, cross-boundary material selection, international cooperation, winter sports culture and support services. The university plans on continuing the program after the Beijing 2022 Olympics. 

As of now, the University also has plans as follows: 

>> Establishing the Winter Sports “One Belt, One Road” Joint Laboratory by partnering with 7 scientific research centers from countries like Finland, Sweden and Denmark.

>> Establishing a China-Finland winter sports college, a China-Finland sports innovation research institute and several Confucius Institutes, as part of their partnerships with a dozen of overseas sports organizations and universities. 

>> Making heavier investments in the research and communication of winter sports culture, through its Winter Olympics Culture Communication and Volunteers Service Center, and Winter Olympics Humanities Research Center. 

>> Providing theory support for the bidding, promotion and construction projects of the Beijing 2022.
