The China Volleyball League (CVL) has added two more partners, Jinri Toutiao and Tencent’s Live.qq.com into its broadcast partnership portfolio.

Under the terms of their partnerships, Toutiao, following Suning Sports and Sina Sports, will acquire short video streaming rights to all matches of the 2017/18 CVL, including the regular games, playoffs, finals and all-star matches.

The Live.qq.com domain will become the official new media live broadcasting platform of the league for the new season, entitled to show 180 games online, including regular season and playoffs.

No less than 300 matches of the 2017/18 season CVL are expected to be broadcast by its TV and new media partners, according to Beijing iRena, the operator of the league, at a recent coordination meeting.

A television signal production schedule has also been released to show personnel positions, production planning and technical specifications. According to the schedule, all CVL matches will be divided into Categories A, B and C, which will be broadcast using 10, 8 and 4 cameras respectively.
