October 5: Hisense USA has become the Official TV and Appliance Manufacturer of U.S. National Soccer Teams, according to the official US Soccer website.
The partnership will see Hisense USA support the teams through the 2018 World Cup, 2019 Women’s World Cup, U.S. Soccer Development Academy, and U.S. Men's and Women's Youth National Soccer Teams.
The pair are looking to bring soccer fans around the world better TV picture quality, motion technology and viewing experiences. Additionally, Hisense is expected to introduce its premium line of appliances to American soccer audiences.
As an official sponsor of the 2018 FIFA World Cup, the China-based technology company will use this partnership as an opportunity to improve its brand image in soccer marketing.
The pair started the relationship during the U.S. Men’s qualifying match against Panama on October 6, 2017, with in-game social activities. Hisense USA will also work with the U.S. Soccer Federation for key men’s and women’s matches throughout the year.
