September 1: Osports (Beijing) Culture Media Co., Ltd and CBA club Beijing Ducks have signed a 1-year partnership deal which makes Osports the club's exclusive official image partner.
Under this partnership, Osports will have the rights to take photos of the club's players and retain the image copyright. When Beijing Ducks runs its own campaigns, Osports' photographers will have exclusive rights to take photos prior to other media.
The deal will begin on September 1 2017 and expire on August 31 2018. As to a deal extension, the two sides will need to re-negotiate six months prior to the expiry date and hopefully on agreement extend the partnership to August 2019.
Currently, Osports are the official image providers of several Chinese basketball clubs including Beijing Ducks and Zhejiang Guangsha, as well as several top domestic football clubs: Changchun Yatai, Shanghai SIPG, Hebei China Fortune, Liaoning Hongyun and Luneng Taishan. In the future, Osports hope to expand their business and partner with more sports events, clubs and sponsors to maximize the value of visual marketing.
