Hisense South Africa has announced an extension with Lions, a Johannesburg-based professional rugby club, which will see the company continue to support the club as its official electronics partner.
Under rules of their extension, the Hisense logo will continue to appear on the right shoulder of the Emirates Lions and Xerox Golden Lions kits for the 2018 Super Rugby and Currie Cup competitions. Meanwhile, Hisense will also receive exclusive signage rights within Emirates Airline Park.
Ryan Curling, Brand Manager at Hisense South Africa, is pleased to renew the partnership with Hisense. As he said, it has been a successful partnership since the offcial announcement released in February. As the two leading brands in South Africa, both the Lions and Hisense have improved their competitiveness through their cooperation.
The Lions are a South African professional rugby union team competing in the Super Rugby competition. The Lions reached the semifinal stage four times in 2000, 2001, 2016 and 2017.
Hisense, also an offcial sponsor of 2018 FIFA World Cup, has occupied the largest hold on refrigerator markets in South Africa as of June, 2017.
