VivaTech takes the stage as the world's leading event for tech and startups

In recent years, eSports have become increasingly popular in China’s sports industry. This rapid growth in popularity inspired the Xinhua News Agency to organize an eSports event - “Xinhua E-Sports Conference”.
This event will start on July 22 in Beijing, and will combine traditional eSports as well as mobile eSports. This competition will be based on three popular games in China – Dota2, League of Legends and “Jielan”, a 3v3 mobile basketball game. It was also reported that the prize pool for this competition will be over 1 million RMB (US$147.5k).
As for the participants, the Xinhua News Agency will invite famous teams and players of the 3 games to join the competition. Moreover, the competition will be live online on various Chinese streaming platforms such as douyu.com, huya.com, Panda.tv and zhanqi.tv.
The Xinhua News Agency is the official press agency of China and the biggest and most influential media organization in China.
