Ltd jointly announced that CCTV would become the official TV broadcasting partner of the International Champions Cup (ICC) in Mainland China. This new four-year strategic cooperation agreement, starting from 2017, will see CCTV get the exclusive TV broadcasting rights for CCTV-5 and CCTV-5+ for all ICC competitions every summer including the non-exclusive broadcasting rights on its digital media platforms.
The parties will also work closely to enhance ICC’s influence in Mainland China to give more opportunities to football fans to get closer to the top global football players and clubs.
