In order to accelerate the development of sports in Beijing, Tianjin, and Hebei, officials from sports bureaus of the three provinces jointly signed the Protocol on Further Promotion of Coordinated Development of Sports Industry among Beijing Tianjin and Hebei on Dec 17th in Zhangjiakou. They will try to develop public exercises, raise competitive sports performances, facilitate the development of sports industry, and strengthen communications among the regions.
They with use outdoor sports as the main feature and will jointly establish 6 tourism and leisure areas in the three regions, utilizing these types: grasslands mountains, wetlands, coastal area, ice and snow, and sky sports.
The regions will promote the level of competitive sports through various methods, including jointly holding high-level competitive sports events, enhancing sports exchanges among youths and sharing professional training bases.
There will be more exchanges and collaborations among the regions, an establishment of a trading platform for sports industry resources and an establishment of an online sports venues information platform.
